Oogst Haarlem
Oogst Haarlem is a self-service farm shop on the Gierstraat in the centre of Haarlem, one of four Oogst shops, which sells food from named local farms and makers.
The shop names its suppliers in its own listing: apples, pears and juice from Landgoed de Olmenhorst in Lisserbroek, oyster mushrooms from De Oesterzwammerij in Bloemendaal, cheese from Achtervennen in Ilpendam and Boerderij de Eenzaamheid in Warmond, goat's cheese from Geitenboerderij van Dorp in Weteringbrug, beef from Beka in Westzaan, pork from De Herkomst in Amsterdam West and chicken from Poulet d'Sophie in Zoeterwoude. Vegetables come from growers including Landzicht Biologisch in Strijen and Veld 4 in Zoelen, flour from Akkerbouw Kempenaar in Leimuiden and honey from Imkerij Weerlanerpolder in Hillegom. Their website does not say how the animals behind the meat are raised, and we have not checked each supplier. The shop page calls the range organic (biologisch).
Staff are in the shop from Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 17:00. At other times the shop is open every day from 6:00 to 22:00 without staff: you open the door and pay with the Oogst app.
Oogst says it buys from regenerative farmers and makers and puts together a different range for each shop.
