Who is responsible

The Soil-to-Table Field Guide is run by Moss & Marrow, [legal name, address, KvK number]. For anything about your data, email lucinda@upliftedlab.com.

Searching by postcode or location

Postcode or town

What you type in "Where" is sent to PDOK, the Dutch government's address service run by the Kadaster, to find its location on the map. We don't store it. PDOK privacy statement.

Use my location

Your browser asks your permission first. Your location is only used in your browser, to sort producers by distance. It isn't sent to us.

Outside services the map uses

Fonts and the map software are served from this site itself. To show the page and the map, your browser also connects to these services, which receive your IP address and technical details such as your browser type:

Cloudflare

Hosts the site. Keeps short-term server logs for security. Privacy policy.

OpenFreeMap

Supplies the map tiles. Privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Route opens Google Maps, Share can open WhatsApp or your email, and listings link to producers' own websites. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

If you contact us

If you email us, for example to report a change to a listing, we use your email address and message only to reply and to update the guide. We delete them when they're no longer needed, and at the latest after two years.

Information about producers

Listings contain business information that producers publish themselves: name, address, opening hours, website and what they sell. Where a producer is a sole trader, some of this is personal data. We publish it because a public guide to where food can be bought is in the public interest and in the producers' interest (legitimate interest, GDPR article 6(1)(f)). A producer can ask us at any time to correct their listing or remove it, and we will.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing us. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If we add anything that collects data, such as privacy-friendly visitor statistics or a newsletter, we'll update this page first and change the date above.
