The Field Guideby Moss & Marrowde Melktap

De Melktap is a raw-milk tap at the organic dairy farm of VOF N.S.M. Disseldorp on the Broekergouw in Zunderdorp, on the northern edge of Amsterdam, where you fill your own container with that day's chilled milk from the farm's own cows.
The milk is sold raw, cooled but otherwise untreated, so its enzymes and bacteria are left intact. The farm is certified organic (SKAL, NL-BIO-01.528-0005240.2026.002); we found it in the register. How many days a year the cows graze, their website does not say.
The tap is open every day from 8:00 to 21:00; bring a jerrycan, bottle or cup and draw the amount you want. The farm shares its yard with the riding stable Stal Gouwzicht, on whose website the tap is announced.
The milk goes from the farm's own herd into your bottle the same day, with no dairy in between.
