Honey
In their words · translated
“Honing van De Koning is een ambachtelijke imkerij waar de kwaliteit van het natuurproduct honing zeer hoog in het vaandel staat.”
Honing van De Koning is a craft beekeeping business where the quality of the natural product honey is held in very high regard.
“Dit houdt in dat de bijen zo veel mogelijk in natuurgebieden staan en dat de bijenwas hergebruikt dient te worden.”
This means that the bees stand in nature areas as much as possible and that the beeswax must be reused.
Imkerij de Koning is a beekeeping business on the Heulweg in Vinkeveen that sells its own honey under the name Honing van de Koning.
The honey carries the Groene Hart quality mark, which requires the hives to stand in nature areas as much as possible and the beeswax to be reused, and their website says it is the only honey with that mark. It is also recognised as a regional product (erkend streekproduct). Besides honey they sell honey lollies and waffles.
You can order through their webshop; their website gives the Heulweg address but no opening times for buying there.
