De Kastanjehoeve is a cheese farm (kaasboerderij) on the Breezijde in Nieuwland, where a family keeps dairy cows and sells cheese from its own shop.

The cows graze outside from late April to late October. The shop sells cheese at every age, from witte kaas, straight out of the brine and so young it has no coating yet, through young, matured and old to a very old crumbly cheese, along with herb cheeses: a farmhouse mix with chives, nettle, wild garlic, garlic, paprika and celery, a young matured cheese with nuts, and a matured cheese with ginger, horseradish and red onion. Their website doesn't say whether the cheese is made from the farm's own raw milk.

The cheese shop is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00, and cheese and dairy gift packs can be put together there.

The farm is a member of the nature conservation association Waterland en Dijken.
