Stadsimkerij Soet Heem is a city beekeeping business in Amsterdam with about 25 honeybee colonies, whose hives stand on school gardens in the Westerpark, among other places.

Everything they sell comes from their own colonies, which means honey, honeycomb, propolis and beeswax, while the pollen stays with the bees because they need it themselves. Their way of working is set out in their own environmental manifesto.

There is no shop and no large stock, so buyers are asked to get in touch first by phone, email, WhatsApp or Signal. The products are sold at the Stichting BeeSupport stall on the Noordermarkt, usually on Mondays and Saturdays, and at other pickup points in Amsterdam by appointment.

The beekeeping business is the working arm of the BeeSupport Foundation, so a purchase supports the foundation's work.
