“Water, Meel en Zout (geen gist) zijn dan ook de enige benodigde grondstoffen voor dit brood. Dit brood ondergaat een rijsingsproces van c.a. 24 uur”
Water, flour and salt (no yeast) are therefore the only ingredients needed for this bread. This bread goes through a rising process of about 24 hours

Bakkerij Cor Muhl is a bread and pastry bakery on the Nieuwstad in Weesp that has been baking since 1945.

Its sourdough (desembrood) is made from water, flour and salt only, with no yeast, and the dough rises for about 24 hours before it goes into the oven. Much of the rest of the counter is a regular bakery's, with yeasted bread, pastry and cakes, alongside Havergoud, an oat bread made without E-numbers, and a granola with puffed spelt.

The shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 to 18:00, on Saturday from 7:30 to 17:00 and on Sunday from 7:30 to 12:00, and closed on Mondays and public holidays. Orders can be sent by WhatsApp or email, and the bakery either delivers them or sets them aside for collection.

The flour is milled for the bakery by the miller of Korenmolen De Vriendschap, part of their choice to work with local ingredients.
