Boerderijwinkel Runder-Lust
- Cattle, sheep or goats graze on pasture in the grazing season
Runder-Lust is the farm shop of a dyke farm from around 1648 on the river Vecht at Nederhorst den Berg, run by the same family since 1928, which sells beef from its own herd of Belgian Blue cattle.
The cows and their calves graze the meadows around the farm for most of the year. In winter they are housed on deep straw in light, roomy barns with scratching brushes, where they eat hay from the farm's own land, maize and other feed sourced from the region where possible, with added vitamins and minerals. The beef is sold fresh or frozen, and the shop also carries regional products, not itemised on their website.
The shop is open on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00. Their website has an order page, which was being rebuilt in October 2026, so it is simplest to phone or email ahead.
The farm encourages eating less meat but better, and invites customers to come and look in the barn.
