De Fruitschuur is the fruit shop of the Van Tienhoven family on the Nieuwe Rijksweg in Lexmond, run by the third generation, which sells cherries from its own orchard alongside other fruit, vegetables and potatoes.
The cherries come from the family's own orchard, and the business handles hundreds of tonnes of fruit a year. Eggs, honey and fruit juices are also sold, which aren't yet confirmed as their own.
The shop is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 8:00 to 14:00, and closed on Wednesday. During the cherry season the hours change and the shop also opens in the evening.
