Gimsel is an organic food shop in De Groene Passage on the Mariniersweg in Rotterdam, where everything on the shelves is organic.
The shop is certified organic (SKAL), which we found in the register. Some of its fresh produce comes directly from named growers: much of the lettuce, and other vegetables, from a market garden in Oostvoorne, less than 40 km away, that their website describes as biodynamic and that has supplied the shop for more than 35 years; many of the cabbages from the biodynamic grower De Lepelaar in Sint Maarten, near Schagen; and vegetables from EKO-boerderij De Eerste in the Noordoostpolder, which has farmed organically since 1987. Demeter products are marked on the shelves, and the shop has its own organic bread department.
Everything is sold in the shop in De Groene Passage, with no delivery.
