Natuurvoeding Doorn

Natuurvoeding Doorn is a natural-food shop on the square at the Kampweg in Doorn that sells organic groceries, with a wide range of fresh vegetables and fruit.

The shop itself holds no organic certificate; what qualifies it here is that everything it sells is organic and vegetarian and carries one of the recognised labels, according to their website. Where the vegetables and fruit come from isn't stated, apart from Rode Liefde apple juice pressed in Werkhoven from a red-fleshed apple. Dairy is sold in deposit glass bottles, and cakes can be ordered.

For dairy in glass you can set up a standing order and collect it on Friday or Saturday, handing back last week's bottles each time; you sign up in the shop or by phone. A weekly bag of organic fruit is available as a subscription, and cakes need ordering two working days ahead, before 16:30. If you call ahead, the staff will gather your shopping for you, and there is free parking in front of the shop.

The dairy the shop sells in cartons carries only the Demeter label.
