De Noabers Oeken
- Cattle, sheep or goats graze on pasture in the grazing season
- Nature-inclusive farming
De Noabers Oeken is a cattle farm in Oeken, in the countryside of Brummen between Dieren and Zutphen and close to the Voorstonden estate, that sells pasture-raised beef from its own herd from the freezer at home.
The beef comes from the farm's own cattle and those of the farmer next door, and every animal has spent at least two full grazing seasons outside on the fields along the Buurtweg. The land is farmed nature-inclusively, which on this farm means no synthetic fertiliser and no pesticides. The meat is cut by the butcher Ter Weele in Oene into small portions, most of them for two people, and vacuum-packed and frozen, with roast beef, ribeye, entrecote, brisket, soup meat, mince, smoked beef and a liver sausage among them. The farm also sells seasonal jam and apple-pear juice, not yet confirmed as made from its own fruit.
Orders go by email, WhatsApp or phone, and once confirmed they are collected at the sales address, Buurtweg 42a in Oeken. Stock runs out between slaughters; new stock was announced for the second week of October 2026.
Medicines and vet visits are kept to a minimum unless an animal's welfare is at stake, and their website says the meat comes only from cattle that have never been ill.
