- Regenerative farming
- Nature-inclusive farming
Melktap de Groene Grens is a self-service raw milk tap on a family dairy farm on the Zuiderkade, on the border between Ede and Veenendaal, where the cows graze outdoors as much as possible.
The farm describes its approach as regenerative and nature-inclusive farming, and it is certified organic (SKAL); we found it in the register under the name of the partnership that runs it. The tap sells the farm's own raw milk, and its yoghurt and butter are sold alongside. There is also an egg vending machine, though how the hens are kept isn't stated, and the cheese on sale appears to come from the De Graafstroom creamery rather than being made on the farm.
The tap is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 21:00 and closed on Sundays. It is reached through the farmyard at number 26, and both card and cash are accepted. The farm also has roadside stalls, and its website is being rebuilt, so the full range isn't listed there.
