Rundvlees Verkoop Eemnes
- Cattle, sheep or goats graze on pasture in the grazing season
Rundvlees Verkoop Eemnes is a beef farm on the edge of 't Gooi, between Hilversum and Eemnes, that keeps Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle and sells their meat from the farm.
The cows graze in the meadow in summer and in winter are kept loose in the barn on straw; their website does not say what they are fed. The beef is sold frozen in portions of your choice, and the list goes well beyond steaks and mince to soup bones, shank, oxtail, cheeks, liver and beef tongue, with ready-made broth, smoked and fresh sausages and vegetable and tomato soup alongside. Eggs are also on the price list, from a source not given.
The farm shop is open Thursday to Saturday from 9:00 to 18:00, or at other times by telephone appointment. Visitors should come in via the Heidelaan, turning in at the Rundvlees verkoop sign and through the left-hand gate, because the address on the Goyergracht Zuid is for post only.
