Streekmarkt Woerden
Streekmarkt Woerden is a weekly regional-produce market on the Kerkplein in the centre of Woerden, where local businesses sell fresh food whose origin is known.
The market was started in 2003 by a group of local producers who wanted to sell what the region makes in the region itself, and the stallholders, including some of the founders, are now organised in an association. It is among the oldest regional markets in the Netherlands and is held every Saturday of the year, 52 weeks, from 9:00 to 17:00. In 2023, its twentieth year, a cheese market ran alongside it every Saturday from late April to mid-August, and it hosted the National Grass Cheese Day (Nationale Graskaasdag).
Their website doesn't list the stalls, so we haven't judged individual producers here.
