Vis-à-vis is a fishmonger on the Nachtegaalstraat in Utrecht whose order list includes farmed Zeeland mussels from Neeltje Jans and Royale Cabanon no. 3 oysters from the grower David Hervé.
Their order list also has smoked wild salmon with the MSC label. The rest of the fresh fish, including wild sea bass, sole, turbot, Norwegian salmon and smoked eel, is sold without a stated catch area or method, so we have not confirmed it. Besides fish they make their own soups and fish dishes to reheat at home, and the shop sells tinned fish and spreads and has a small bistro for lunch.
The shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:30 and Saturday from 9:00 to 16:00. You can download the order list from their website, then hand it in at the shop or email it.
