“Als hobby imker verkoop ik naast honing diverse producten aan huis”
As a hobby beekeeper I sell various products from home in addition to honey

Imkerij 't Zod is a hobby beekeeper in Kortenhoef, keeping bees since 2019 and selling honey and other products from home.

The frames are uncapped straight from the hive and the honey is extracted cold, so it crystallises naturally; to make it liquid again, the beekeeper advises warming the jar in water no hotter than 40 degrees. The local honeys are named for where they come from: Kortenhoef flower honey, Kortenhoef creamed honey, honey from Huis te Velde and from De Bloeiende Hof, plus comb honey. Woodland, lavender and Dutch lime-blossom honey are also listed, not yet confirmed as their own. Alongside the honey there are jams and syrups made from unsprayed fruit with less sugar, walnuts in honey, creamed honey with ginger, propolis tincture, balm and soap.

Nothing can be ordered online. Their website lists what is available, and you arrange a time by phone or email to collect it in Kortenhoef.
