Pantry Grootstal

Pantry Grootstal is an unstaffed regional food shop on Landgoed Grootstal, an estate on the boundary between Nijmegen and the countryside, which you open and pay at with an app on your phone.

The shelves are stocked by about twenty local producers. Sourdough bread comes from Streekbakker Jorrit and Bakkerij De Knollentuin, honey from Imkerij Immenhof, Imkerij De Bosrand and the estate's own beekeeper, and membrillo from the estate's quince orchard. Vegetables, goat dairy, eggs, meat, oyster mushrooms and ice cream from suppliers such as Tuinderij Zonneklaar, Geitenboerderij 't Ketelbos, Ons ei, De Groene Weg and Versfabriek are also sold, not yet confirmed product by product.

The kiosk stands at St. Jacobsweg 15A, on the corner of the Grootstalselaan, and their website describes it as always open to anyone with the app.

The estate is also home to Herenboeren Lingezegen-Grootstal, the Het Heerlijke Land CSA and a food forest.
