Organic methods: no synthetic pesticides or fertiliser, not certified

“Sinds 1 januari 2009 is het hele bedrijf omgeschakeld naar een biologische productiemethode. Dit houdt in dat de akkers en weilanden niet worden bespoten met bestrijdingsmiddelen en er word ook geen gebruik gemaakt van kunstmest.”
Since 1 January 2009 the whole farm has switched to an organic production method. This means that the fields and meadows are not sprayed with pesticides and no synthetic fertiliser is used either.

Boerderijcamping Klein Emelaar is a farm campsite at Uddel on the Veluwe whose vending machine sells potatoes and other produce from the farm's own fields.
The farm has passed from parent to child since the fifteenth century and kept dairy cows until 2022, when it turned to arable farming. Their website says the whole farm switched to organic methods (biologisch) on 1 January 2009, which means the fields and meadows are not sprayed with pesticides and no synthetic fertiliser is used. The farm holds no organic certificate; what qualifies it here is the growing without sprays or synthetic fertiliser. Eggs from the family's own hobby hens are also in the machine, not yet confirmed for how the hens are kept.
The vending machine (boerderijautomaat) stands at the farm on the Buurtweg and has been there since 2022. Their website gives no hours for it, and the campsite takes no arrivals or visits on Sunday.
