“De koeien en kalveren hebben sinds 2019 weer toegang tot de wei”
Since 2019 the cows and calves have had access to the pasture again

Boerderij de Pavijen is a dairy farm on the Wethouder Schoutenweg in Culemborg that sells raw milk and its own dairy through Het Melkmeisje, a self-service point made up of several vending machines.

The cows and calves have had access to the pasture again since 2019. Raw milk is sold from a tap, and the farm makes its own dairy, including whole yoghurt and kefir, on a menu that changes every few weeks. Beef is sold in meat packages that customers sign up for, and the farm has offered the liver, heart and tongue of its cows to anyone who wants them; whether all the beef comes from their own herd isn't confirmed yet. Eggs, honey, fruit, potatoes and onions are also on sale, partly from other suppliers, and aren't included in our check.

Het Melkmeisje is open Monday to Saturday from 8:20 to 21:00 and closed on Sundays.
