Voedselbos Natureluur Sloterpark is a community food forest in Amsterdam's Sloterpark, at President Allendelaan 4, where herbs grow among the young trees and shrubs.
The growers say they use no synthetic fertiliser or chemical pesticides and that they manage the land regeneratively. There is no shop and there are no set opening hours, so fresh herbs are sold by appointment, which means getting in touch first to arrange a time to collect. Herbal products from the food forest are also sold through their webshop.
Through the winter and spring of 2025–26 the food forest ran volunteer workdays every two weeks, a mix of theory about how a food forest works and hands-on planting and upkeep, open to anyone without experience.
